If there is a trouble that cannot be solved in full amount with computer technology, it ought to be the lack of adequately organized space for bits, bytes and megabytes of various data on your hard disk. Every year the world of computer entertainment becomes more graphic, interactive, user-friendly in terms of advanced apps and more demanding. Do you happen to analyze analysis disk space?

You might have noticed that many applications like to build supplementary files to store temporary bits, bytes and megabytes of various data. 90 per cent of the time they delete everything they have created at the end of each session or when you uninstall them. In spite of the efforts of all these applications to remain clean and tidy, they do leave behind a couple of megabytes of useless bits, bytes and megabytes of various data. The latter will accumulate with time. A couple of months later you could even have to clean up the hard disk manually using a formatting program and then install the operating system anew.

You might think that I am exaggerating as there are programs that help organize and manage disk space.

Using standard programs could be a good idea if you use mostly My Documents folder to store your things. Unfortunately, few people rise to that level of personal organization when it comes to their computers. It is not rare for some of us to act on impulse when choosing a folder name. The folder will be still there even after the impulse has gone. In these situations you might discover that standard programs are not that functional after all.

It is not so easy to show folders sizes. Try finding large files and folders using conventional programs and you will see how difficult it is. They are slow even on fast machines when it comes to calculating the size of directories. Locating those gigantic files and folders might turn into a complicated hunting trip. A user might spend long hours finding the biggest problem makers to your hard disk capacity.
